Sew N Grow's mission is to help high school and college students create hand-sewn items in a nurturing learning environment. This may include learning about sewing, business and financial education, the fashion industry, and other extracurricular learning activities.
Who We Support
We work with high schools, colleges, youth programs, and host week-long sewing courses. We have partnered with fantastic sewing instructions with a combined experience of over 40 years! Together we have a passion to bring back an important household skill. If you look around the room you are currently in, there is something that had to be sewn.
How you can help!
Donations are welcomed! We are providing the best possible experience for our participants. In order to provide quality resources and stay innovative we would love your support. Here are items you can donate toward:
Sponorship Tiers:
Fully Sponsor a student: $450
Sewing Machine to take home:
$120
Sewing Instructor cost: $150 (includes $20 a day gas stipend)
Meals for student, per week:
$50 ($10 to feed each student a day)
Sewing Kit/Fabrics: $100
Transportation Services: $50
(for students that may not have access to a ride)
